     A Santa Clara County resident has died from West Nile virus after a long illness, public health officials says. Seven deaths from the virus had been reported in California this year. The disease is transmitted by mosquitoes, which thrive in warm water.

    SAN RAMON- Police in San Ramon claimed that they had not discovered anything unusual following a threat of violence at the school. The police had discovered the threat written on the bathroom wall. 
    "As a result, multiple officers are now on campus conducting a thorough security check of the school and sorrounding area."
